Lighting displays
for urban spaces

We design, supply and install lighting displays in public spaces—from a night-time visualisation of your town square and power-load assessment to approvals with the relevant road authority, dismantling and storage until the next season. One contractor, one contract and one point of contact throughout the season.

Town Squares and City Plazas

The Focal Point
of a City Display

A town square or main plaza is the natural centre of a city’s seasonal display—a place for gatherings, events and the first photos of the season. This is where landmark installations work best: visible from a distance and instantly recognisable as part of the city.

What We Create

We design giant Christmas trees, oversized baubles, illuminated city-name signs, 3D figures, photo spots, light gateways and seasonal centrepieces. For larger projects, we combine several elements into one cohesive display that can welcome visitors to a Christmas market, a city event or an entire lighting trail.

Installation in Public Spaces

We use freestanding and ballasted structures, along with solutions that minimise impact on the paving. Before installation, we assess the ground, available power supply, pedestrian traffic and any technical or conservation requirements.

Scope of the Project

From the site visit and concept development to production, delivery, installation, maintenance and dismantling. Decorations can be purchased, hired for the season or developed as part of a long-term city-wide concept.

Streets and Pedestrian Areas

Lamp-Post Decorations and
Lighting That Leads the Way

A street or pedestrian precinct needs rhythm rather than a single centrepiece. Repeating motifs, overhead decorations and lamp-post displays create a cohesive route, allowing the lighting to work along the entire length of the space rather than at just one focal point.

What We Create

We assess lamp-post height and spacing, clearance requirements, power supply points and how the decorations will look from both pedestrian and driver viewpoints. This helps the lighting create a rhythm along the street without interfering with its everyday use.

How We Design the Route

We attach lamp-post decorations using clamps selected to fit each pole’s diameter, without drilling or interfering with the lighting fixtures. Overhead decorations are suspended between poles using steel cables or attached to building façades.

LED decorations have a low power draw, so in most cases they can be connected to existing street-lighting circuits. We check available power capacity and pole load on site before selecting the designs.

Scope of the Project

Motif selection, layout design, technical calculations, production, delivery, installation and maintenance. For recurring projects, we can create a system that is easy to expand and add to in future seasons.

City Parks and Public Squares

A Public Space Visitors
Want to Explore

A park offers plenty of room to tell a story with light. Instead of a single decoration, we can create an entire trail—with an entrance, a series of scenes, photo spots and a finale that brings the experience to a close.

What We Create

We design light parks, illuminated trails, 3D figures, tunnels, gateways, photo spots, interactive decorations and complete themed displays. The theme can draw on nature, local history, a town legend or one of our existing collections.

Light Among the Greenery

We work with the park’s existing trees, pathways and infrastructure, creating decorations that complement the setting and bring out its character. We plan safe visitor routes, power supply and structural stability while minimising impact on green areas.

Scope of the Project

From the trail concept and visualisations to production, installation, maintenance and future editions. A light park can be a one-off event, a seasonal attraction or a city experience that grows year by year.

/01 Budget and Project Scope Expand Collapse

Estimated time: 1–2 weeks

We start by clarifying the project requirements and helping define a realistic scope. Based on your budget, location and timeline, we recommend solutions that can be delivered in one season or developed in stages.

What we provide:
— an initial cost estimate and proposed scope
— options to suit different budget levels
— purchasing options and phased, multi-year investment approaches
— a proposal for staging the investment
— guidance on the elements most important to the overall concept

/02 Site Survey and Technical Preparation Expand Collapse

Estimated time: 1–3 weeks

Before designing the display, we assess the conditions in which it will operate. We review installation locations, power supply, site access and any constraints specific to the space.

What we provide:
— site visits and measurements
— assessment of lamp posts, façades, squares and mounting points
— verification of available power supply
— selection of fixing methods and required accessories
— consideration of pedestrian and vehicle traffic
— review of heritage and technical restrictions

At this stage, we rule out solutions that could cause problems during installation or operation.

/03 Concept, Decoration Selection and Visualisation Expand Collapse

Estimated time: 2–5 weeks

We bring the visual concept together with the site’s technical conditions. The proposal shows not only how the lighting display will look, but also its scale, layout and relationship with the city’s architecture.

What we provide:
— development of the decorative concept
— visualisations of key locations
— selection of decorations, focal installations and photo spots
— placement of elements throughout the space
— options for internal review and approval
— adjustments to meet the agreed budget

The local authority receives materials it can use to present the project and support further approvals.

/04 Documentation, Safety and Project Preparation Expand Collapse

Estimated time: 2–4 weeks

Before production and installation, we finalise the project documentation and technical specifications. This helps define the scope of supply, installation methods and responsibilities of each party.

What we provide:
— technical data sheets and required declarations
— structural and lighting specifications
— plans for powering and connecting the decorations
— selection of cables, accessories and protective equipment suited to the project
— installation documentation
— delivery and installation schedule
— coordination of technical resources

Before the display is switched on, we check the installation, connections and lighting operation.

/05 Production, Installation and Seasonal Support Expand Collapse

Estimated time: production: 4–12 weeks; installation: 1 day to approximately 2 weeks

Once the project is approved, we coordinate its delivery. We organise production, preparation, transport and installation, keeping the operational workload for the client to a minimum.

What we provide:
— production and quality control
— preparation of decorations and installation accessories
— transport and delivery logistics
— installation and connection of decorations
— testing and commissioning
— support during the display period
— dismantling at the end of the season
— optional storage, refurbishment and preparation for reuse

For larger projects, we can also coordinate work crews, lifting equipment and the different stages of installation.
